My Bestie I’ve been in the beauty industry for 13 years now and relationships that I’ve made throughout the years with clients and colleagues are probably the most significant part of why I’ve remained in it. I met my best friend Brittney who is the owner of @alatelashstudio almost 8 years ago when we both used to teach at a reputable esthetic college. We travelled to California together to be certified as master educators for a reputable lash company and have been besties ever since! The value of having a friend who shares the same passion as you and you can support each other through your growth is invaluable. She has worked with me at @vitabeautybar since the day we opened and look forward to sharing with you some of the new ventures we have coming soon!

In My Element My heart and soul has been and always will be in the beauty industry. I remember saving and paying off my tuition to take nail training on the weekends while I was only 17 years old, going in and making monthly payments until my whole course was paid off. I got my first job at a salon in #yxe as an esthetician and when a manager position opened I begged and pled for an opportunity to show the owner I was worthy of the position && I GOT IT! I was only 18 y...ears old and successfully managed that salon for 5 years. They paid me to move to British Columbia and manage an expansion, building the team, service menu and all. That’s only the beginning What a wild ride that’s brought me here, I’m thankful for every experience and moment that I’ve lived! I think the next chapter of this story is going to need a second post - maybe 4 I am here, full of gratitude, passion and knowledge I can’t wait to share with you! .
