Lockdown update: We hope everyone is having a great start to 2021! It’s not how we envisioned our January to start but we understand what is at stake d...uring this Ontario Provincial lockdown. Regardless, we are ready to go with our online zoom platform. We have a jam packed schedule for our students with classes every day except Fridays and Sundays. Students will be able to do multiple classes as we have added in some stretching/kicking classes plus a striking/self-defence class that even our cardio kickboxing members can participate in. We will have Instructors from all of our Dojo’s teaching online: Shihan Renshi Tammy Bernardo (Oxford) Renshi Tom Roberts (Dearness) Sensei Lee Campbell (Ilderton) Sensei Kevin Dang (Strathroy) Sensei Russ Finkbeiner (Grand Bend) Sensei Holly Kenny (Oxford) Sensei Andrew Powell (Oxford) Sensei Andrea Elaschuk (Oxford) And many more! We won’t be posting any recordings this time but we have numerous karate and cardio kickboxing and body weight workouts in the members section if you cannot make a live zoom class. A few notes for zoom: We are asking members to use their real names (not nicknames or numbers etc) for your screen name. For security reasons we won’t be allowing any one into the meeting/class if we don’t recognize the name. Everyone will also need to turn their video/cameras on. We need to see every member on our screens. If you are in our waiting room and are not being allowed to enter, it is likely because we don’t recognize the user name. Please call our Bernardo Karate headquarters at 519-659-2504 for any issues. Younger students need to be supervised at all times during zoom classes. Update for Friday, October 23rd: Revisions have been put in place today by our Middlesex-London health unit which means our London Bernardo Karate locations (O...xford and Dearness) don’t need to make any karate or cardio kickboxing schedule changes. On top of our current cleaning procedures and safety protocols, the only changes you will notice is our Instructors will be teaching with face masks on. If you have any questions please let us know.
