An old tired-looking dog wanders into a guy's yard. He examines the dog's collar and feels his well-fed belly and knows the dog has a home. The dog follows him... into the house, goes down the hall, jumps on the couch, gets comfortable and falls asleep. The man thinks its rather odd, but lets him sleep. After about an hour the dog wakes up, walks to the door and the guy lets him out. The dog wags his tale and leaves. The next day the dog comes back and scratches at the door. The guy opens the door, the dog comes in, goes down the hall, jumps on the couch, gets comfortable and falls asleep again. The man lets him sleep. The guy grows really curious, so he pins a note on the dog's collar: "Your dog has been taking a nap at my house every day." The next day the dog arrives with another note pinned to his collar: "He lives in a home with four children -- he's trying to catch up on his sleep. Can I come with him tomorrow?' See more

These animals are being housed in shelters and foster homes throughout the Prince George area - help make their Christmas a little bit happier by being their Sa...nta =) Fostering and running a rescue or a shelter is very rewarding, but also a lot of work - and you go through a LOT of supplies. Help out by playing Santa and giving much appreciated supplies for the animals on Northern BC Animal Rescue Christmas Wishes, 2018!!! TO BE A SANTA: comment on the photo of the animal or the album, or send us a PM indicating which animal or animals you would like to play Santa to. The animal and its wish list will then move from the album "ANIMALS NEEDING SANTAS 2018" to the "ANIMALS WITH SANTA 2018" Once you have collected your basked of goodies, label the gift clearly with the name of the animal and the rescue that it is at, and drop the items off at Bone & Biscuit and give us a heads up* (*items for PG Equine Society can be dropped off at Bosleys in Prince George).
