Dramatic changes taking place at what will soon be a 24-hour veterinary clinic here in Barrie. Converting a steakhouse to an animal hospital is no small task! The buildings interior is totally unrecognizable.

Nearing the finish line on our addition to the Midland womens shelter. This project will add a number of new rooms for Huronia Transition Homes as they fight human trafficking and provide support services for victims.

Great progress at our Paramedic Station project in Elmvale. This is our third paramedic station in the last three years and were very proud to help build the services to meet our communitys needs!

This weeks Featured Professional is Lisa Bertram You could say this Professional in Practice built her career from the ground up! Lisa started her constr...uction career with high-rise construction in 1990 before joining the family business (making her a 3rd generation builder). Now the president of that business, Lisa is leading Bertram Construction as one of Simcoe Countys leading construction firms, employing over 30 people! Lisa lives with her partner, Kathy, and their 2 dogs and is the mother of two children now in university. She has been in the game more than 30 years, but that isnt slowing her down! Today, Lisa is involved with 10 different family businesses, including the 400 Market, Construction and Equipment Companies, Holding Companies, and Family Trusts. Phew! Were exhausted just thinking about it. Well done, Lisa! We are proud to have you as a member of our community.

Residents of Barrie will definitely recognize this building. Bertram Construction is in the process of converting the facility into a 24-hour emergency veterinary clinic. Its pretty shocking to see the interior without the bar!
