The Codiac Regional RCMP has recovered a significant number of what are believed to be stolen construction tools and equipment from a storage facility in Moncto...n, N.B., and is attempting to locate their rightful owners. On August 4, 2020, police executed a search warrant at a storage facility on Mountain Road as part of an ongoing theft investigation. Among the items that were recovered are approximately 70 power tools, a Ridgid table saw, hand tools, a generator, extension cords, harnesses, and lanyards. On August 9, a 41-year-old Moncton man was arrested in relation to the investigation. He was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Moncton Provincial Court on November 10, 2020. As part of its ongoing investigation, the RCMP is trying to locate the owners of the recovered items. Police are asking anyone who had similar items stolen to contact the detachment at 506-857-2400.

The Town of Riverview is asking residents to avoid all non-essential water use. Water consumptions are reaching non-sustainable levels. It is crucial people tak...e extra steps to ensure the Town is able to maintain a safe and reliable water supply, and the fire department is able to respond to calls. Until further notice, residents should avoid using water beyond general consumption for activities including: Lawn and garden watering to that which is necessary for plants to survive (watering of plants should only occur early in the morning or late at night to avoid water evaporation) Washing down outside areas such as sidewalks, patios, parking lots, etc. Washing cars Using sprinklers for any purpose Leaving faucets running while shaving, rinsing dishes, cleaning. In my spare time I play Rock Band. I had built a plywood stand to support my Roland drums. Initially I had it on felt pads, but it would move away from me when I played. (Im sure many of you are familiar with this problem with stock RB kits)... I changed the felt pads to rubber pads to give it traction. This made it impossible to slide it across the floor to put it away when Im not playing. (I play in the middle of my living room, where we also watch TV) My solution: I added casters on hinged strips of wood that I can flip down to move the kit, and flip up to play. I also added handles so I can lift 1/2 of the kit up at a time to do the flippy flips. I also mounted a Qi phone charger on the side of my kit so I can charge while playing and check FB / Messenger between songs (super useful if playing with friends online) I have a rubber band to keep the phone from falling off.

If you need advice/assistance on a home repair, I am prepared to offer virtual service calls where I can answer your questions, assess a problem and walk you through any repair via Facetime or Skype. A small fee will apply of course.

Since I cant do much in terms of work right now, Im catching up on other things. Today I changed the oil/filter, the air filter and the AC compressor pulley bearing on Tanyas car.

We are still here for your emergency service calls! We will maintain 6 social distancing from our clients. Exterior repairs are pretty straightforward, but we will clean/disinfect any surface we work on that you may come in contact with.... For interior repairs, we will wear gloves, maintain safe distancing, and again disinfect all surfaces we come in contact with. Neither myself nor my coworkers have had any symptoms nor have travelled out of province recently. If anyone becomes symptomatic, they will self-quarantine for 14 days and not be out working until they are absolutely safe to do so. We are here for you.

How the world has changed in the last few weeks!! Like a lot of customer-facing businesses, we are basically shut down for the time being, observing social distancing recommendations. We are still available for residential and commercial EMERGENCIES for the time being.... Also I am offering free consultations for service calls and small reno projects. If you need anything done when this crisis is over, now is the time to get the ball rolling! We are taking bookings and already have a waiting list. I can provide cost estimates via e-mail and do phone/text/facetime. With photos and measurements I can usually give a pretty accurate price on what something will cost. Even wipes labeled flushable can clog pipes and interfere with sewage collection and treatment. These items should always be thrown in the trash. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Avis Les lingettes, les serviettes en papier et autres produits similaires jets dans les toilettes bouchent les gouts et peuvent provoquer des refoulements et des dbordements dans la station de traitement des eaux uses, et ainsi crer un risque supplmentaire pour la sant publique cette priode de pandmie de #COVID19. Mme les lingettes dites jetables peuvent obstruer les tuyaux et interfrer avec le processus de traitement des eaux uses. Ces articles devraient plutt tre jets la poubelle.
