Dear friends of Czech and Slovak language and culture in Montreal area. The fall season of CZECH and SLOVAK LANGUAGE COURSES AND CONVERSATION ZOOM MEETINGS will start on September 14, 2021. Courses are organized in Montreal by BESEDA Czech and Slovak Culture Center in Canada since the year 2000. These courses and conversation meetings will be via ZOOM {or maybe in person if the Covid-19 situation at that time would permit it] and are recommended for teens aged 16 years an...d up and for adults of all ages. Czech and Slovak language native speakers will teach the courses and will participate in the conversation meetings. Due to large differences in the knowledge of languages among people registering for language courses and conversation meetings, the month of August 2021 will be used for a language knowledge evaluation and forming the appropriate level groups. Please contact BESEDA as soon as possible for review meeting if you would like to participate in the Czech or Slovak language courses or conversation meetings. Please send this message to others whom may be interested as well. Next Zoom meeting introducing courses will be on August 31, 2021. We shall send you an invitation if you would like to participate. BESEDA is also planning for the fall 2021 [if the Covid-19 situation permits] to continue with dance courses and group rehearsals for traditional Czech and Slovak folklore dances, historical and modern ballroom dancing.
