Two years ago I started working on the idea on naming bracelets after brave heart kids. Weston was in the original little hearts collection and is a part of my heart centre. Weston is my son. He was born with a hole in the lower chamber of his heart and when he was 2 years old had open heart surgery and is the reason SerenCo started. His experience has been the driving force for my passion for raising money for heart children in our province. I don’t decorate until December 1st. I wait until the real trees come and then we decorate. This year with all the anxieties that everyone is feeling I wanted to bring in Christmas to our home earlier. My favourite activity is decorating the tree, the large majority of our tree ornaments hold a story or memory near and dear to me. I have had this one since I was around 5. She has been in every Christmas tree since. This story is about my beautiful nephew, sister, and family. They are currently in the children’s hospital in Saskatoon. We are so blessed to have such an amazing facility in our province. Her story is one of many ups and downs as all moms can relate to especially children with health conditions. Today Weston started kindergarten and Lee went into grade 3! Our pup was pretty worried about where they were all day and was so excited when they came home. I have to admit that I am not the best with pictures, glad I remembered to get these.

Lee and Weston are so blessed to welcome another cousin on August 31st. We were so lucky to have Kinsley with us while this little miracle took place. We went to meet Grayson today and so far he is a very content baby. So excited to watch these four grow, play, and become great friends.

We are going to be making sparkle ball earrings! I finally found a back I like and they are kid approved.
