Gin Sensory Workshops!! Looking for something new to do? Our Gin Sensory Workshop might just be the thing! Spend some time with a few people in your bubble, exploring gin and the botanicals that go into it.... This 2 1/2 hr session starts with nosing several individual botanicals used in the making of gin. Using a flavor profile wheel, you can see where they fit in the flavor scheme, while honing your sensory skills. From there, we will blind taste six different gins. The flavor profile wheel will guide you and supple descriptions and vernacular to discribe what you are tasting. There is no wrong answer, only you can determine what you are tasting. After each gin, we will share our thoughts with the group. Then move onto the next gin. The exercise of trying something blind, helps get past our predetermined opinions. Also by sampling gins side by side, one is really able to experience the differences between them. At the end, I will reveal the gins. Some you may have tried, others maybe not. To finish off, we will try a couple craft tonics and then have a G&T to cap off the session.
