Hey there Best Books Fans!! Due to the Coronavirus there will be a couple of changes with this tax season. 1. I may have mentioned to some of you Best books would be closed March 23- April 1. That is no longer the case and I will be business as usual. 2. Business as usual will change slightly where instead of me coming out to you at drop off or pickup we will arrange a time and you can leave your paperwork in my mailbox at drop off and I will leave it again at pick up. Paymen...t can be left in the mailbox or etransfered. as much as I love seeing your faces and having a bit of a chat I think the time has come to limit the amount of face to face contact to try and keep you and me and our families as healthy as can be. I will be home or someone will that can take in or put out the paperwork so it spends as liitle as time possible in the box. I had planned on getting a locked mailbox' but needed to pick it up across the boarder and well....so much for best laid plans!! The other thing we can do if you don't have a ton of papers is either scan and email or send me pictures of them. Saves you the drive as well. It's so nice to have the heat back in Southern Alberta!! Time to set up the outside office!!

Not letting fear hold me back! Heights, especially when not safe inside an enclosed airplane, are a huge fear of mine and just the thought of walking on this bridge made my stomach do flip flops!! But I told that fear to take a jump off a high bridge (get it) and I walked about a quarter of the way across it. Had there not been so many people and bikes I just might have gone the whole way!! Who would have wanted to miss this view?!? Sometimes when running your own business you need to do the same! Tell fear to take a hike so you dont miss out!!

Yeaaaa!!! Its almost my favourite season of the year!! TAX SEASON!! Yes, I know I am an odd ball because no normal person likes tax season, but I love it and wish I could do personal income tax all year round. Bring someone new with you and you both get $5 off! Pretty good deal you each will get your tax return done for $50! That is half than some of the big name companies. Beat the rush and get them in early!
