I posted this before but it is totally worth sharing again! Especially during a time when people are looking for better, safer, effective products in their home.... Sorry to burst your bubble if you love Mrs. Meyers products or Grove collaboration, but I feel it’s my job to educate when I see a company greenwashing! Don't fall for the celebrity endorsements that can be toxic to your health! Please don’t be fooled by Greenwashing! Greenwashing means that a company markets their products as natural, pure, safe, clean, but they still contain harmful chemicals. This one should be put in the "Hall of Shame". A few other tidbits I have learned . . . Unilever - the maker of toxic personal care and cleaners - bought Seventh Generation Clorox (Yes, CLOROX) now owns Burt's Bees Colgate Palmolive bought Tom's of Main Johnson & Johnson had to pay out a 4 billion dollar settlement last year because of their harmful ingredients. (This is one of many, many lawsuits they have had to deal with over the years) Just because something is easy to buy at a store and has become a household name, does NOT mean that it is safe (or even effective). It just means that the company has spent a ton of money promoting and advertising it. In fact, in my experience the best products come to you direct from the manufacturer. No middlemen, no fillers, no toxic ingredients, less overhead and so therefore, better cost too! Hard not to argue with this logic! . #bestkeptsecret #themoreyouknow #detoxyourhome
