Some of the things I did in 2020

I struggled with a single word to describe 2020... Even as I type I am flip flopping between the words, 'Transformative' and 'Interesting' Transformative, in so many ways that we as a society have, or have not, adapted to the pandemic. Interesting to see how well people have, or have not, adapted to the pandemic. Some have collapsed under the weight of the changes and some have flourished.... It became easier to see those that see the world primarily from a place of scarcity and those that saw the pandemic as an opportunity. For me personally, it gave me clarity.. I stopped coaching a while back, as in my mind, the world didn't need another life coach. Holy sh$$$ I was wrong... Right now people are struggling. Why? Because: They have lost focus on what's important to them. They are suffering from sheer overwhelm, the world they knew has changed so much they have become lost. Living in a constant state of fear. Their dreams have evaporated because of the ecomony. As a coach what I know to be true is that many of these people have lost their way because they had no plan Without a plan, we are like a ship without a rudder, subject to the masters of the wind and current. We are not true masters of our own vessel. After coaching thousands of people and facitating countless workshops, I know this to be true. Those with a strong WHY are those that are able to navigate the turbulent shifts life brings us easier. ( Eg. Pandemic). Those with a strong sense of purpose are able to get back on track after a mishap or a course correction. As we journey into 2021, I urge you to bring a sense of urgency to your WHY, live with more passion.. Love more, be more, dream big...
