We started our Saturday practice by having some of our students lead the group through Master Feng's 24 Form. The person leading is inclined towards a highly focused performance. (Mitch is leading in the photo.) These unseasonably warm days have been a great blessing for our practices, but don't forget to start bringing your gloves and layers as the cold weather settles in! ... A few of us gathered in the Gardens for some push hands practice on the solemn Remembrance Day. All the formal push hands training seems to be benefitting the group greatly. I can feel everyone's skill rising up, our newer members included! Want to be one of those new members? Message the page for information on how to get started!... Check the link below for a video clip of Master Zhang Zhijun's exemplary 1999 Chen Style Taiji performance. https://ystong.ca/taiji/media/ZhangZhiJunChenTaiji_1999.mp4... You and your partner challenge each other's capacity to continue through the pattern without letting your balance be affected.... Curious about Taiji?
