Every year Beth David members come together to provide a meaningful and memorable Shabbat service for the Jewish veterans living in the L-wing at SunnyBrook hospital on the Shabbat closest to Remembrance Day. Unfortunately this year we will be unable. We cannot let circumstances stop us from remembering our brave veterans and from letting them know that we are thinking of them and thank them for their service. Please join us in writing a short note or drawing a picture wh...ich will be delivered to the veterans on Remembrance Day to let them know that Beth David continues to hold them in our hearts. Pictures and notes can be emailed to [email protected] by noon on Monday November 9th and they will be delivered to the hospital to be distributed by the Chaplain. Thank you! The SATO Committee & Brotherhood **Things that you can write on your note or picture.. I will remember by wearing a poppy on my heart. I will remember by going to a Remembrance Day ceremony. Thank you for your sacrifices. You are in our minds. You are BRAVE.

Hag Sameach! Here is a look inside our sukkah- decorated collaboratively by Beth David families (notice the handprint tree, the cool spiral cut outs and also the high holy day bookmarks with special messages written on them and strung up). This sukkah represents the togetherness of the Beth David community, even when we can't come together in person. We are having sukkot services online for the holiday. Tomorrow a livestream "best of" service lead by Rabbi Walker 10-11am (link in comments), and Sunday 9:30am a zoom chavurah-style service lead by Cantor Loomer and Ritual Director Michael Rubin (zoom links are in the most recent Beth David email). We hope you will join us!
Check your inbox for High Holy Days registration! We sent an email yesterday that includes all service times, FAQs and general info. Didn't get it or still have questions? Email [email protected] or call the office at 416.633.5500. Don't forget to renew your membership under "My Account" on our website to have access to our livestream and Zoom options.
