New updated position statement from the ADA on diabetes and hypertension. Interesting to note, their target blood pressure is 140/90 mm/Hg for most diabetes patient (unless the patient is at high cardiovascular risk), whereas the CDA is still 130/80 mm/Hg. I wonder if the CDA will follow and revise their guidelines as well.
