Thank you to all of you who have commented on social media. We want to assure you that we are doing all that we can to keep our customers and staff safe during this difficult time. We do have all of the protocols in place to prevent Covid 19. There was a group in last week, that has caused some concern. They were at the restaurant for a private function. They were in a private room with a separate entrance and had separate restrooms. They did not interact with other custom...ers. This group was reminded several times that they were required to wear masks when not seated at their table. Unfortunately they chose not to follow posted rules about wearing masks and dIstancing. We can remind guests but we cannot strong-arm them into following rules. We have sanitized and disinfected the entire area since the party and we are truly doing our best to follow all guidelines for your safey and ours. Today I wanted to rise in the House and address the controversy over MPP Oosterhoff not wearing a mask at Betty's with his party. Above all I want to say this -... I know the Miszk family, they're friends of mine and great community members. No one should be taking this out on their restaurant and I hope you will all continue to support this wonderful family who has been through so, so much this year. So many businesses are struggling. MPP Oosterhoff should've known better and he should never have put the staff in the situation where they had to choose between the business they can get in this pandemic and asking him to leave - they especially shouldn't have had to ask a sitting member of the Government to abide by the laws his own government passed. His arrogance has put them in a terrible situation and put the workers at risk. Above all - we can avoid situations of pitting workers against customers if we just respect one another, wear a mask and be considerate of those around us. This should've never happened and it could not have happened to a nicer family or a greater business. I still proudly support Betty's and hope we can move past this so they, and so many other restaurants, can get back on their feet.

A large piece of my heart went to heaven today....It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our precious little butterfly Julianne ,from this worl...d into the next. She accomplished everything she needed to do in her short time with us and now it was her beautiful soul’s decision to return back to her heavenly home . Cancer, could never extinguish this girls spirit to live , love and enjoy life to it’s fullest! she inspired,encouraged and touched so many peoples lives .
