Early morning sessions ... the best thing about having this AMAZING new space is YOU can have me available to you whenever YOU need me to be. Healing often doesn’t follow a 9-5 business day and that’s aok with me. My practice has shown itself to be one in which when all is readied and I am needed, I am available. If, for some reason, I am not available, it’s usually because something yet has to transpire before the time to sit with me is ripe. Having transformed this space, which once was my garage, was the best investment ever. No longer do I have to invite people to walk through my home ~ this space is 100% dedicated to welcoming you while it holds you lovingly and safely as you move through your healing journey. When having to wake up really isn’t top on your to do list ... this morning this wee girl took one look at me, snorted in my direction and literally stuffed her head back under the pillow. We all have those days, don’t we? Days where we can’t get our wits about ourselves, or we just don’t wanna. Honour where you are at any given moment, hour or day ... the constant action of putting ourselves where we really don’t wanna be can be tiring. For some the choice isn’t always the...re, yet self care beyond such is always attainable. To take the time to refill your cup will allow you to move through those undesirable moments with greater ease. If you are looking for a beautiful way to offer yourself loving kindness, I am offering a 4 week Metta Meditation practice where we will connect every Wednesday evening at 8:00 p.m., commencing January 27 to February 17. We will set aside 45-60 minutes gathered together via Zoom, where I will share information, answer questions, and chat, after which we will devote 30 minutes to our Metta practice. Have you heard of Metta Meditation? Metta meditation is a beautiful practice known simply as loving kindness. Loving kindness comes from our heart, requiring a softening of such to allow us to feel empathy for both the joy and sorrow of all those around us, near and far. Metta is a practice where we repeat phrases to invoke a kind, loving, acceptance feeling in our heart to expand our capacity to love, firstly, ourselves and then others. We cannot extend love to others without first developing a love for ourselves. This space will open up an opportunity for you to come together with beautiful like-minded people, ask questions, share comments and learn a new simply gorgeous way as you slip into a beautiful practice of support and accountability. The healing den is in full force ... the new space was never on my radar until, literally, it was ~ this space was never in the plans, or at least never in my plans. The energies of 2020 pushed me to step well beyond several limits ~ zoom gatherings, virtual sessions and moving healing sessions out to the beautiful outdoor healing space nicely tucked underneath the pergola. The growth since summer of 2019 has been absolutely remarkable ~ a new beautiful sign, big spacious ...deck and manicured gardens for healings, workshops and gatherings and now this new healing space with its own street entrance ... who knew?!? Ohhhhh BOY, does this resonate! I am a cycle breaker and I take great pride in such. I was once told that I would "never survive without [him]"; that in being a single mom with two kids, I would be "undesirable" to others; that I was "used goods" with "baggage". There was a brief moment in time when all those thought forms held me captive in fear, paralyzed to move forward. Thankfully, that phase did not last near as long as he would have liked. Today I am not the same p...erson he once knew; having more than once dug incredibly deep, even though fear could have very easily kept me stuck. Unleashing strength from depths I had no idea existed. In doing so I forever released those pieces of myself that drew such an experience in to me. Until the day my fear shifted to self love, I began to realize that I could not remove the toxic from him but, I had the ability to remove his toxic from me ~ it meant work to take back my power, and lots of it. I have come to acknowledge that cycle-breaking is my Super Power - I spent 8 years transforming bad situations to the gads of wisdom I hold today.
