Unfortunately with the hospital rules and restrictions during COVID-19 we are still unable to take on any clients who plan to birth in a hospital. ... We are however, able to take clients who are planning home births. If you are planning a home birth and would like to acquire our services please contact us and we would be happy to assist! We will update everyone at a later date when we will be able to photograph inside hospitals again. Thank you everyone for your patience and support during this difficult time.

MEET YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER! Hi, Many of you know me already, but for those of you who don't, my name is Katrina. ... I first found an interest in digital photography in 2010 when I took my first Photography course that my highschool @crestwood63 (Crestwood Secondary School) offered to their students. The same year, my parents bought me my first professional DSLR Camera, the Canon Rebel T4i. After I had that camera in my hands my hobby grew ten fold and my skills bloomed. Since then I have taken multiple online Photography & Business courses in my spare time, casually building my portfolio. In 2016 I enrolled myself in a Birth Doula program with D.O.N.A. International and became a Certified Birth Doula. After practicing as a Doula for a few months, I realized that there was an upcoming desire for Birth Photography in my region. I started joining Facebook support groups for Birth Photographers and realized, really how huge of a business it was. In 2017 I officially started offering Professional Birth Photography Services to clients in my service area. It was quite a hit. In 2018 I decided to put my Doula Services on hold for a while, and just strictly offer Birth Photography. At this time I also decided to start offering Videography. Providing families with documentaries of the day of the birth. It is now 2019, almost 2020 and I officially became a International Association of Professional Birth Photographers member. ( @birthphotogs ) I LOVE my job as a Birth Photographer. Out of all the post secondary diplomas and certificates I have acquired since graduating highschool (Crestwood) in 2013 this is definitely my passion and one day soon I hope to be able to do it full time. The most precious moment of them all. When a baby is born and they immediatly start reaching for their mother. Birth is messy. Birth is tough. Birth is beautiful.... . . .
