WE DID IT!!! Our studios are open again, under strict COVID protocols, of course. It's important to note that our dance studios were not asking for - and did no...t receive - special treatment. We just wanted to be recognized as posing no greater risk than other activities that were allowed to remain open. Thank you to everyone who wrote their MPPs and supported us. Stand by studio owners, dancers and families who have been affected by these closures and ask for our government to reevaluate the classification of dance studios. Dance studios have been unfairly classified as part of the Ontario government’s modified phase 2 restrictions in COVID hot spots including Toronto, Peel and Ottawa regions.
