Well some of you might have seen it already but I attempted my first photo edit... the first image was the stacked image of 480 images. And the second is my attempt of an edit. Enjoy!!

So I know its not much to look at, at first, but this is the sun... taken through my telescope and my canon t5i. The image with the full sun is camera to scope and the closer one has a 2x expander on the camera body. Can't wait for a clear night that isn't -20 out so I can get this close to the moon.

Still looks pretty good for tonight!

Tomorrow looks like it might be a decent night to capture some stuff... might just empty the SD card and set up an extremely long exposure and capture the meteors

So I haven't been on here lately... being its been cold and cloudy. Photo taking hasn't really been possible... BUT, last night I got a chance to take some photos before the new year started.... unfortunately again it got cold quick and not much was captured.... and I still don't have a photo editing tool or a conversion tool, so half of the picture I took were in RAW and I don't have a converter. But I realized part way through and got a1 half decent picture of the orion nebula. Again it's unedited and straight from the camera and cropped.. im hoping that now that the days are getting longer and hopefully warmer I will have a better chance to get some better photos. I'm still learning but I hope to have a fully edited photo of the orion nebula before it disappears in the sky.!
