Today is the day my book releases on Amazon! Beyond Hello tells the story of a decade long labor of love where my students and I have helped the homeless community in Canada’s poorest neighborhood reach out and share their stories. I have woven their stories with the lessons my students and I have learned along the way. May we all connect with compassion. I met Cynthia is 2013. Addiction free, she now takes the bus to work, often speaking with other commuters. Today I received a message from a passenger named Duncan who wanted me to know she is thriving and that she referred him to my blog to learn of her past.
