We're so flattered that Beyond the Bagel was included in Eater Montreal's top 4 Montreal Food Tours! And, we couldn’t agree more with the folks at Eater: BTB isn’t just for tourists! We love having locals join us to share their own stories, and discover things they never knew about their own backyard (and most importantly, nosh down on delights like Hof Kelsten’s Bialys!) ...
We visit Cheskie's on the tour, and although they're well known for their babka, we love to introduce people to their kokosh - babka's lesser known Hungarian cousin! Read more about it in our friend Leah Koenig's article and try your hand at it if you're not in Montreal to try it. Link to article: https://f52.co/2ppj2Ty

Schwartz's Hebrew Delicatessen is out but Musée du Montréal juif - Museum of Jewish Montreal still has a few precious cans of Cott's cherry cola!
Thank you National Post & Morgan Lowrie for the great article!! We'll be running the tour until the end of October, so you still have lots of time to experience Montreal's Jewish food history with us. Get your tickets here: http://museemontrealjuif.ca/tours/
