Incorporating zoom into the After-School Program has been great for so many reasons! Not only does it give us so many new opportunities to be creative in program but it allows kids from different programs to interact and connect with one another. With everything going on in the world, Yoga Mindfulness offers youth an opportunity to disconnect and focus on channeling their emotions in a healthy and productive way. It’s also a great way to destress and see friends over Zoom. They'll will even get a chance to win goodies every single class! Yoga Mindfulness will be offering 2 10-week sessions. One session will run on Tuesday nights, and the other will run on Thursday nights beginning the week of October 12th. Unfortunately, after consultation with one of the Region’s top doctors, Durham Region Public Health Department and our Board of Directors, we have made the decision to cancel Rally 4 Kids. With the current upward trend in COVID-19 case numbers, we as an organization did not want to put staff, volunteers or the members of our community at risk. Anyone currently registered for the event will be fully refunded and we thank all of our sponsors and checkpoints for being willing t...o support the Club in what we’re sure would have been a great event. Raise the Grade is back! Anyone interested in joining this great program is invited to join the information night on September 28th.
