This week our School Program leaders (and now I) learned from the students as they shared about what an idol is. The student said: "Imagine a boat with a God-hole at its bottom. You can try to fill it with anything and everything you can find but it would still leak and sink the boat. Only God can fill the God-hole." WOW!

This week the School Program considered God's sanctifying work in Jacob's life. Seeing it this way made me realize how far Jacob has come and how patient and loving God is with each of us.
