We will be opening may 26th! This means that we will be offering limited services. For yours and our safety we will be changing the way we take clients in. ... Dog grooming will be by appointment only and there will be no walk-in services for the time being. This includes nail trims, face trims and the like. Grooming will be prioritized by rescheduling cancelled appointments first and we will be doing short hair cuts only for the first while to take care of the countless pets who have become matted and are at risk of skin damage. **We are risking our health and yours by being at work in such a high contact industry, so please understand that shave downs are what we are offering in the beginning to pets who NEED grooming for their welfare. This means we will not be scheduling appointments for dogs who need a deshedding, bath or "trim". ** We are so happy to have such a loyal clientele and we hope you are all well and healthy. We thank you for your continued patience through these trying times and ask for just a little more of it as we navigate through these new waters we find ourselves treading.

We have recieved an overwhelming amount of phone calls and messages in the last 24 hours. We will be prioritizing clients who had appointments scheduled prior to our closing. We will be in contact with these individuals as soon as we open. Please be patient as we will be opening once we are fully prepared. More details to be announced soon. Thank you.

A message to our beloved and loyal customers: Unfortunately as of right now, the doors to the salon remain closed as we navigate through these unprecedented times and work on our recovery plan. We want to ensure the safety of our clients, as well as our staff while we adjust to the new normal. We do not have a waiting list, however priority will be given to clients who had appointments pre-booked that were cancelled due to the pandemic. We apologize for this inconvenience. I...n cases of emergency, please contact your veterinarian as matting or skin irritation may occur as a result of no grooming. Start with the red areas first. These areas should be brushed most often as they tangle easiest. Please dont waste time and puppy patience on the blue area if you dont have to. Save it until very last. Resist the urge! Stay strong everyone. And safe and healthy!

Nail trimming is also a big concern for everybody. Here is a great instructional video with some tips. Hope everyone is doing well!

Rosie is a spaniel cross of some sort and was a first time groom here with us. We spent a while with her mum going over haircuts before deciding on this and we wish we had taken a before picture because the transformation was amazing! What a gorgeous girl, inside and out. The first time at a new grooming salon can be tricky. You know what you want in your head but things sometimes get lost in translation. Never be afraid to bring pictures, discusss length and style options, and of course listen to input from the professionals . We all want the same thing: your pet looking AWESOME! If at pick up time it isnt what you had in mind, dont keep it a secret. Point out the problem areas and we can discuss how to get the haircut you want next time. It may be as simple as coming in sooner!

Jewel is so lovely. She is sweet and so even tempered, you might not even realise at first that she is very nervous. Her parents take turns staying in the salon while she is here and that works for her. Ordinarily we advise against watching your dog get groomed. It can make it more difficult and dangerous as they are generally more focused on you and too excited.

So because we missed National puppy day, here are TWO puppies! Coco and Chanel are standard poodle sisters eho are learning very quickly to be stellar grooming subjects. But thats a poodle for you isn't it? #supersmart
