For a limited time, we will be serving Sparkölsch Glitter Kölsch in honour of International Women’s Day (on tap & in bottles) 5% ABV - Clean, crisp, and approachable with a hint of sparkle. Kölsch was originally brewed in Germany and is known to be a versatile and diverse beer; brewed as an ale yet cold-aged like a lager. Since it was such a hit, chili from The Waterfront Pub will be served again all weekend long (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)!!! Don’t forget that our brewery can be accessed via snowmobile trails along the Saint John River!

Today and tomorrow we are serving up chilli in the tap room from The Waterfront Pub! Our hours are also now 12-8pm daily (with the exception of 12-6pm on Sunday’s). Come treat yourself, you deserve it!

6 years ago we designed and created an imperial IPA. It was named the Wrath of Putin. It had a satirical description highlighting the policy of aggression and public denials of the truth coming out from the Russian administration. As an immigrant and a woman in the brewing industry - releasing this beer gave me an opportunity to speak about atrocities happening in my home country and ridicule the dictator.... The name was never intended to glorify or promote Putin. Similarly, Lizzy Borden Red Ale is not intended to promote axe murderers. We understand that without context and given the events that have transpired since the beer was first named - it deserves to be renamed and it will be named "The Wrath" as a tribute to the people around the world having to live through oppression. Big Axe apologizes for any distress the old name caused. У ньому був сатиричний опис, який пдкреслю полтику агрес публчне заперечення правди, що виходить вд росйсько адмнстрац. Як емгрантка з Украни та жнка, що працю в пивоварнй галуз, випуск цього пива дав мен можливсть розповсти про зврства, що вдбуваються в мой рднй кран Укран, висмяти диктатора. Це м'я нколи не призначалося для прославлення або просування путна. Так само як м'я "Lizzy Borden Red" не пропагу вбивць з сокирою. З огляду на под, як вдбулися з тих пр, як пиво було вперше названо - воно заслугову на перейменування, нова назва Гнв як данина пошани людям у всьому свт, що переживають несправедливсть та гноблення.
