Out for a quick hunt this morning. No deer, no wonder, two coyotes. One was coming in and then ran a cat up a tree. I see at least one every time I hunt this bush. As soon as my deer is in the freezer I will be taking my rifle out.

I would like to welcome Tomasz and Zoia Chudyk as well as Alvin and Lena Streicher to my next hunting safari group into sunny Namibia. There was plenty of interest at the Shooter's Choice sale and show this past weekend. While there is nothing like the enthuasium of a first-time safari hunter ( Tomasz and Zoia), Alvin too can hardly wait for his second safari to start as he takes his wife Lena along. I know all parties will have the hunt and holiday of a lifetime. Thank goodness the rain managed to hold off during show hours.

It is now 40 years in the taxidermy industry. What started as a love for animals and our great Canadian outdoors, has blossomed into a lifetime of creativity. I would like to thank all my loyal clients, individuals who have entrusted their trophies to me and those who have liked my FB page. Well I am back from a great trip to Italy and it is time to focus on whitetail. The upcoming rut looks like it will be a great one. Good luck to all and I will keep you posted on my activity. PS a nice 12 point showed up on my trail cam on the first day of the Sept. full moon. What are the odds he will show up on day one of the next full moon??

Hi folks, We are getting closer, we went out shooting on Saturday. Shortly our group of eight will be leaving for sunny South Africa. Nine days of hunting at Hunting Safari South Africa lodge. Lots of sun and fun is expected. A Cape Buffalo is primary on my bucket list. I hope to him knock off early in the week and then I will concentrate on taking photographs for all the other clients. We can hardly wait.
