We have slowly been introducing you to members of the transplant team, which is a multidisciplinary team made up of people of all specialities to help take care of our transplant warriors. Today, we would like you to meet Nicola, our pharmacist! Hi , I am Nicola, a clinical pediatric pharmacist at the Stollery Children’s Hospital. I work very closely with the multidisciplinary healthcare team and specialize in the monitoring of all medications including dosing, delivery and... potential interactions. I enjoy teaching families as they prepare for discharge from hospital. I strive to make home friendly regimens that include simple plans, straight forward delivery methods and solutions for any side effects that may occur. There have been several changes over the last 15 years I have worked at the Stollery Children’s Hospital, but the one constant that remains the same is the relationships I form with the heart parents and kids. The Stollery is an amazing hospital and I’m proud to work there.
