We are starting to accept applications for summer staff. We are looking for people who can clean cabins, help with the store, some odd jobs like mowing, etc. No experience necessary, but must love being at the lake, be over 18, and have their own means of transportation (to get to and from work if they don't live on Big Whiteshell). Please keep an eye out for a 2015 white F150 Truck with a trailer holding a black 2020 Skidmore Expedition Snowmobile. It was missing this morning from Block 2 Lot 4.

Took a little trip about 4 days ago to ice fish on George Lake. The route was Big Whiteshell => Crowduck => Saddle => Echo => Forbes => George. FYI, the lakes... are great but the trails between the lakes are very much not great. Narrow, lots of fallen trees, exposed rock, upward grades with a turn on exposed rock, etc. Most of these trails have to be ridden in a standing position. Hopefully the recent snowfall will improve matters. DDD. See more

Hey folks, I know this doesn't have anything to do with Big Whiteshell, but I'm hoping you can help anyways. I am working on a fundraiser, called Operation Warm Winnipeg. There are people who are living in tents, in Winnipeg in the Winter. They do so for reasons that might not make sense to us, but often because of poverty, mental health, and addictions.
