Was in Brockville checking out one of the provinces only public paved pumptracks. It was sweet, but the 6 hour round trip was brutal. Gotta get one of these built right here in Peterborough.

Another step forward for the bicycle playground! We've visited and discussed several potential sites with the city. Stay tuned, we'll be asking for your input on what would make a great site soon.

Congrats to Peterborough Trailbuilders Association on their successful completion of a formal agreement with Otonabee Conservation to maintain the trails at Harold Town!

Happy to report the presentation to Arena's, Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee (APRAC) went well! A motion was accepted to report back to APRAC in a few weeks, possibly looking seriously at sites! Woot! Woot!

A fantastic example of a community driven bicycle playground project. Gage Park in Hamilton saw over 47,000 laps ridden in the first two weeks the park was open in 2015. That count is apparently over 300,000 laps at the end of 2017. #active #youth https://youtu.be/iUjx7M9hUqg

I've been doing some more extensive research about potential users of a pump track. Particularly after learning about Canadian Tire Jumpstart #PlayFindsAWay. I happened across this video post from WheelchairUnbound of using a wheelchair in a pumptrack. Looks like a good bit of fun for wheelchair users. What do you think?
