From todays ramble with @karaderby up in the alpine taking photos and enjoying the peace and quiet. It's amazing what you can find just off the beaten path.

From a project in progress. This is one of the many unedited sketch images taken to investigate composition, lighting, and transparency. This photo is closing in on the goals but not quite there in the details, never mind the wonky crop by IG. So the search continues for "that one image" that will hopefully excite the client and move forward a really cool collaboration with @renayshaffer

Who doesn't love a leading line?

Ukee sunset 2020. Despite everything else going on in the world the sun still rises and sets and beauty is all around, if you take the time to look. But don't forget to watch your feet ... because falling in these rocks ain't much fun ... the camera survived, thanks for asking.

It's worth getting off the beaten path. The sound of falling water got us to stop and a short bushwack led us to a little eden in the woods. @karaderby has taken to bringing a sketchbook to draw in while I wander off with the camera because "sometimes" I lose track of time. As shot with a 3 stop ND.

Elevations, significantly more resolved. Who needs a sweet little corten steel clad 570 square foot cabin or carriage house?

In full "stay home" mode and rummaging through sketchbooks from the "early days" when I worked out details by hand. The 3rd image, as an example, is all that was given to the trade as a site instruction from which they executed beautifully.

Something a little different. I'm working out the wrinkles in a couple of small house concepts.
