WestJet has confirmed three flights that flew into or out of Toronto Pearson International Airport between March 7 and 9 contained passengers who have tested positive for novel coronavirus (COVID-19). On Tuesday, March 17, the airline said two of the flights were between Toronto and Liberia, Costa Rica while a third was between Toronto and Moncton, N.B. Three more flights that flew into or out of Calgary and Edmonton contained a passenger who tested positive for COVID-19. Pas...sengers in specified rows on the following flights into or out of Pearson are considered close contacts to those infected and could be at risk of exposure. WS3440 from Toronto to Moncton, N.B. on March 7: rows 7-11 WS2644 from Toronto to Liberia, Costa Rica on March 7: rows unspecified WS2643 From Liberia, Costa Rica to Toronto on March 9: rows unspecified Travellers on these flights are being advised to self-isolate for 14 days and monitor for symptoms which include cough, fever or respiratory issues and contact their local health authority if symptoms arise over the next 14 days. As well, Flight WS1199 from Phoenix to Toronto on Feb. 28 had a passenger who has tested positive. Anyone who sat in rows 18-22 is considered to be close contact and is advised to self-isolate. #BillBaring #BillSellsCaledon
