ATTENTION: Please be advised that Hamilton Public Health's recent direction that face masks be worn at all times in the gym is only a recommendation. The medical condition exemption from wearing a face mask, as stipulated in Hamilton Bylaw 20-155 and Ontario Regulation 364/20, remains valid and can be relied upon. As a reminder, pursuant to section 2.4 of Hamilton Bylaw 20-155, entry and access to a fitness facility cannot be denied to a member of the public who states that t...hey fall within an exemption of the Bylaw. Also, pursuant to section 2.9 of the Bylaw, the operator of the facility cannot require any member of the public to provide proof that the exemption in the Bylaw applies to that member of the public. Accordingly, face masks are strongly recommended but not required while exercising in the gym. Please continue to be respectful of other members' decisions to wear or not wear a face mask.

We’re Back!! Binbrook Gym will re-open this Friday, July 24, 2020 at 9:00am. All membership billings will re-commence on Saturday, August 1, 2020. The maximum number of members in the club at any time will be limited to 25. For the time being, there will be no need for members to schedule a workout. However, we will monitor this going forward and may implement an online booking system. The showers at the club will not be available for use and the water fountain may only be u...sed for touch-less water bottle re-fills. To help ensure the health and safety of our members, please: do not enter the club if you are feeling unwell; arrive at the club already dressed in appropriate gym attire; bring a re-fillable water bottle; sanitize your hands upon entry and exit; use disinfecting wipes to clean equipment before and after use; respect physical distancing while in the club; and limit workouts to 60 minutes. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone again. Things will be a bit different for a while. But the health, safety, comfort and overall happiness of our members will continue to be our top priorities. See you soon!

UPDATE: We are continuing to follow the Ontario government’s orders regarding the closure of all non-essential businesses. Over the coming weeks, the Ontario government’s re-opening plan will allow some regions to enter into Stage 3. This will allow fitness centres in those regions to re-open. Based on current guidance from the Ontario government, we anticipate Binbrook Gym being allowed to re-open on or shortly after July 24, 2020. Please continue to stay safe and healthy!

Members of Binbrook Gym, As of today, our family has decided to temporarily close Binbrook Gym until April 4, 2020. We will re-evaluate the situation at that time. Until our club re-opens, all member Payments are being suspended. Over the past week, we have been closely monitoring the development of the COVID-19 outbreak and considering the advice of Canada’s public health authorities. We have also been listening to our members who have overwhelmingly requested that our club ...remain open. Ensuring the safety of our members while at our club has always been and will continue to be our highest priority. As our members already know, our club has impeccable cleaning standards and is able to offer a space that affords social distancing. Nonetheless, we believe temporarily closing the club is in everyone’s best interests at the present time. This is an incredibly difficult situation for small family-run businesses such as ours. We sincerely want to thank everyone who provided us with words of encouragement. We truly appreciate having you as members! Please continue to stay safe and healthy.

This year Binbrook Gym will be starting our first Movember Team. We recognize not everyone can or wants to grow a big bushy moustache. So instead we decided to set a fitness goal for our gym that we can all take part in! This year’s goal is to collectively move 600km & raise $600.... That’s 10km for each of the 60 men who will die by suicide each hour across the world. We encourage you to set your own "move" goal for this month and join our team!
