Birch Tree Cafe & Bistro will be closed during the week of November 2nd to November 5th for both breakfast and lunch service. Thank you Powell River community for your amazing support for the Culinary Arts program thus far. It has been wonderful to share a few Japanese inspired dishes this year at Birch Tree including Omu Rice, Tamago Kake Gohan and the Teriyaki Rice Bowls. On November 3rd the Professional Cook Students will be preparing a 4 course Japanese themed dinner at 40 Knots in Comox. We will be visiting several food related learning activities during our visit to the island. We look forward to welcoming you back again during the week of November 10th through 12th.
We would love to hear from you! What are some of your favorite plant based recipes? Plant based pancakes with plum compote, coconut whip and fresh fruit.
