Do you know an aspiring young jazz musician? Humber College's Advanced Jazz Studies for Youth is a 10-week online course that helps high school students prepare... for further studies in music. They develop advanced improvisation, jazz vocabulary and repertoire, and work on university-level material while sharing challenges and insights with other outstanding young musicians and master jazz artists. Led by renowned jazz guitarist Lorne Lofsky and the outstanding Canadian jazz pianist Adrean Farrugia, classes start Saturday, October 3 and run each Saturday from 12 to 2 pm. Email [email protected] for more information or to book an audition. Space is limited!
