Dear Birth & Beyond clients, We have recently come to the difficult decision that is it no longer feasible for Birth & Beyond to continue providing midwifery care for clients who have estimated dates of birth after January 31, 2020. Over the past year some of our midwives have taken leaves from full time practice as they experienced some of life’s joys and challenges, including expanding families, family illness, and graduate study. Because we are deeply committed to providin...g high quality, personalized care, we have come to the realization that we need to explore options for administrative restructuring towards greater sustainability and continuity of care in the future. While we are regrouping, several of us will continue to work as midwives at other practices in the Vancouver area including Strathcona, Bloom and Terra Nova.
