Hi folks! As you’ve all seen by now, Manitoba is allowing retail businesses to sell only essential items to in-store customers, whereas all items (essential and non-essential) may be sold via curbside pickup or delivery. All non-essential items must be removed from the shelves or blocked off to prevent access by customers. This is going to take a bit of figuring out for a business like ours, with both essential and non-essential items spread throughout the retail space. For ...the time being, starting on Saturday, November 21, we are going to revert to curbside pickup and delivery, the same as we did in the Spring. Please be patient with us over the next few days as we work out the details of how to follow government requirements, while still meeting the needs of our important customers. Our full rural delivery service will be available again starting on Tuesday, November 24. Four important things to note: 1. We really appreciate it when you phone in your order (204-842-5333) ahead of time. Even if all you need is a case of beer, we’d like to be ready for you in advance. This will save you time! 2. For the next few days we will be selling lottery tickets but will not be checking or redeeming them. Please be patient with us as we figure out the new situation. 3. We have a tap terminal that can come outside for curbside pickup. Many customers prefer for us to keep their credit card on file, and then payment is all taken care of ahead of time. 4. If you need to see a pharmacist in person, we will make that work, as we are still allowed to have a small number of customers in the store for essential reasons. This will be a challenging undertaking for customers and businesses alike, but we agree it’s necessary to flatten the COVID curve again. We want to thank our customers and staff for their continued support. We’ll be posting pictures regularly of all the exciting products we’ve brought in for Christmas.
