Today is Epiphany Day! A fun tradition in France is the Galette des Rois and we are bringing to you the celebration.

Galettes des rois Galette des rois is a popular French cake made of puff pastry and almond cream that celebrates the holiday of Epiphany (January 6th). As part of the French traditional, a bean is hidden in the cake. ... To serve: one person cuts the cake, whereby another will distribute the pars. All should be executed in a way that the guests are unaware of where is the bean. The person who finds the bean in his/her slice becomes king or queen for the day. Galettes des rois will be available all January on Friday and Saturday. They can also be ordered.
