To all of our Guests and Team Members: On November 5th at approximately 6pm the Provincial Public Health Board announced a potential exposure to Covid-19 at The Bitter End on Nov 2nd from 9pm 11pm related to a customer, not an employee. We immediately closed our operation to allow time to contact all of our employees, customers on our contact tracing list and to complete an additional thorough cleaning and sanitization, in addition to our regular cleaning schedule. At th...is time none of our team members are displaying any Covid-19 related symptoms. After consultation with the Public Health Board they have advised us that there is no reason to take any further action other than continuing to monitor the health of all of our staff. In addition the Public Health Board has confirmed there is no need for isolation measures at this time unless an individual becomes unwell then they should stay home until they get test results. The Bitter End remains diligent (as we have from day one) in adhering to a strict cleaning and sanitization schedule. This, along with following all the Public Health protocols which include but are not limited to: mandatory face masks, physical distancing, physical barriers between tables and a reduced capacity within the establishment remain at our upmost importance. We hope for a speedy recovery for all those affected by Covid-19 in our province. We wish to assure all of our patrons that we are open for business and your safety and that of our employees is a top priority.
