Happy New Years Eve!! Maureen and Kim have been very busy,and I told them that I had missed saying Merry Christmas to you all, and they told me to wish everyone a Happy New Year. Well everyone it's that time of year again, when we close our doors for another year. We at Bittersweet Rose wants to thank everyone who has made our year better, by stopping in and visiting, from enjoying our wonderful selection of gift wear our artisans work so hard on, and to the finale....The Victoria Village Christmas Stroll!! I must bid you ado and fly south for the winter to spend my time with my family. Till we see you again, and I will try to post every now and than just to keep you posted on what's new.... The weather outside is frightful , but the Stroll will be delightful.... I am working hard with the girls to make the 4th annual Victoria Village Christmas Stroll an amazing event for all! It will be just ducky to see everyone! Your truly , Mrs Beaker

October 18, 19 and 20th... 10-5 daily. The annual Autumn/ Christmas Victoria by the Sea Walkabout. New this year...We will have Vendors in the renovated School...house for Saturday and Sunday. Two days instead of 1. Lots of parking at the school. A few tables still left so phone Susie at 902 6268954 for information. The Victoria Heritage Assoc. will have a matinee concert on Sunday, the 20th...more info to come. Bittersweet Rose will have cider pressing and weather permitting horse and carriage rides. We have more food vendors, as well as our wonderful local restaurants. We have a basket of goodies,donated from shops so share this post to win. Winner is to picked after the Walkabout...

Well I am back to work after having my leg surgery , and just in time for all the rain coming for the next couple of days. So I am going to drink lots of hot chocolate in our wonderful new pottery mugs, and I might just waddle around the village! See you than.

Congratulations to Krista on winning our "help name our fish" contest. There was over 140 names entered in this contest. It was a difficult choice although Indigo was our favorite choice.

It has been a hard summer for me. first I had to have surgery on my beak, than the other day my leg!! I sure hope the rest of the year is better. If you think of me send a card or better yet I like duck pellets or I really like fresh corn to.

I NEED YOUR HELP!!! Hi Facebook family!!! I made this throw quilt to do a fund raiser for my sister Angie Hudson. I cant go in deep detail but she has been sick... for years and got worse in the last 2 yrs . The doctors here cant find out what is wrong. She finally got an appointment with a specialist in Toronto, December 3rd. She has NO extra money coming in because she can't work. She makes a little with her baking. I would like to help her raise money for her trip to Toronto and hopefully she will get answers. The tickets are $5.00, she will be at the Christmas sale at the green house in perth andover this weekend on Saturday selling tickets and bake goods.
