Learn all about the new strains and how to avoid geting COCID-19 Virus

Contagious Strain of COVID-19 There is evidence that the COVID-19 virus has mutated into a more contagious, more easily transmitted strain. This is bad news but it is also good news. When we are attacked by the COVID-19 virus, in bad cases it leads to COVID-19 pneumonia which sits at the lower part of your lungs, interferes with your ability to breathe and may even be lethal. However, because it is situated in the lower part of your lungs it is considered a lower respiratory... disease and is not easily spread because it is difficult to move the pneumonia all the way up your lungs and out through your mouth or nose. On the other hand the new more transmittable version remains in the upper part of your lungs and is considered upper respiratory. This means any cough or sneeze can spread the virus but because it remains only in the upper part of your lungs it is not lethal and easily treated with home remedies or in the worst case a week of antibiotic therapy. Please do not be alarmed by the media talking about this strain but try to be even more diligent when it comes to wearing your face mask, physical distancing, washing your hands and sipping liquids all day. Nobody wants to become ill from the virus but at least if you do catch this new strain it is not life-threatening and you will recover quickly. See more
