OUTLINE OF THE NEW NORMAL FOR RACING! Vehicle controlled with one entry and exit from the property. As outlined in the handbook, all vehicles will be directed ...to pit areas by track officials, parked 50 feet apart and awnings facing away from each other. The racetrack will follow the 50-person limit. Registration details confirmed at the gate; protocol discussed; handbook and info sheet handed out; temperature taken and recorded next to each name. All registration for race entry, gate entry, camping and waivers will be done online limiting physical contact with the Future West team; race entries and waivers provide full contact information for contact tracing, as required. Limit 4 per vehicle including rider. For families larger than 4, special request can be made by contacting FWM. Move-In Procedure: Gate opens at 2:00 pm Friday. A FWM team member will be equipped with mask, face shield, and hand sanitizer Everyone moving in will have pre-registered online, there is no admittance otherwise. No spectators allowed. Temperature check will be done each time a vehicle enters and leaves the property and these temps will be recorded next to each name. Everyone entering the property is required to have masks and hand sanitizer. The FWM team member will review with each vehicle the details of our protocols with regards to masks, sanitizers and social distancing as well as handing out a Riders Handbook. The Riders Handbook will also be available for download at the time of registration. Upon entering the property, a Parking attendant will direct each RV to their pit area (50 feet apart, awning facing away from RV next to them). The property gates will be closed at 9 pm on Friday night , open Saturday at 6 am. closed at 9 am, reopen Sunday at 6 am., closed 9 am. The pit areas will be monitored at all times by FWM team members to ensure social distancing is being carried out. ABSOLUTELY NO SPECTATORS PERMITTED. PROCEDURES FOR PRACTICE AND RACING: FWM start gate staff member will be provided with face shield, mask and hand sanitizer All Flaggers, referee, paramedics, finish line personnel will be provided with masks and hand sanitizer. Riders meeting will be announced from the tower over loudspeaker. Riders to start gate will be announced from the tower. Rider plus 1 (if required) will proceed to the start gate. Plus 1 will wear a mask. Rider’s family (4) will be permitted to watch from a designated area where social distance rules will be enforced including masks and hand sanitizer. When race finished the rider will exit track and return to the pit area. (NOTE: Track exit is separate from the start gate area). Family members, must immediately return to their pit space. There will be no food concession truck at the races.
