Just like that we are back open! The course is in great shape and we have a few open spots still for our Ironman / Ironwoman event on Wednesday. Cost to play is $100 per person and includes golf, $25 F&B Voucher and chance at prizes. Format is a 2-person Scramble with times between 10am and 12pm. Our restaurant hours for this week are: Today 12 to 7pm, Saturday & Sunday 12pm to 7pm, Monday closed, Tuesday to Thursday 12 to 7pm. We will keep you up to date if we are open beyond that. If you are looking for any clothing or footwear we have some great deals to take advantage of. All clothing and footwear is 30% off and Puma Footwear is 40% off. This is while inventory lasts. The golf shop will be open from 9:30am to 4:30pm today thru November 5th (closed Monday after 3pm).

The course will be closed along with the restaurant today and tomorrow. We are planning to re-open on Friday October 30th (weather permitting). In the event we are able to open, the restaurant will be open from 12 to 7. We have not determined an official close date yet. Once the course closes we will be closing our restaurant for the winter as well. Thank you all for a great golf season. Hopefully we have a few weeks of warm weather ahead.

End of season sale.... All clothing and shoes are 30% off and our Puma shoes are 40% (while quantities last). Our Ironman / Ironwoman event will take place on October 27th. Starting November 2nd, we are introducing a new special that will run until the course closes. The cost will be $100 and will include a $50 golf shop credit (to be spent that day), $20 Food & Beverage Voucher and 18 holes of golf with a cart. This special is in lieu of our year-end inventory event. To our Valued Customers & Community, We have been getting hundreds of phone calls daily with people inquiring about our opening dates, so we wanted to send a quick update regarding what’s happening at Black Mountain Golf Club, and our plans to open the golf course during this unprecedented period of time. A number of Kelowna area golf clubs have chosen to open their courses this week, along with many others throughout the province. This will be viewed as great news to some, ...and unfortunate news to others. There is no doubt that golfers are itching to get back on the course after a long winter. We are wishing our fellow golf clubs the best of luck and safety with their upcoming openings, and we will be keeping a close eye on their progress, and hope to be joining them soon. The health and safety of our staff, customers and community is undoubtedly Melcor’s number one priority, which is why we have chosen to remain closed for the time being. There are dozens of protocols and procedures we will be implementing once we open, but for now, we feel the responsible course of action is to remain closed for now. Assuming all goes well with the other local golf courses, we are optimistic that we will be out on the course golfing within a few weeks. The people of B.C. have done a great job in slowing down the spread of the virus, and we are optimistic that our local economies can return to a sense of normal in the upcoming weeks. That being said, we are not out of it yet and we want to err on the side of caution. We feel that sacrificing a few weeks of golf is an easy decision in these circumstances.
