*SIGH* We must apologize to those of you who supported our Valentine's Fundraiser.... Unfortunately, some of our chocolate orders were definitely not up to par, some were incorrect and looked nothing like what we asked for, nothing similar to the pics we were given as references, and not the quality we were expecting. Not all were terrible, but sadly some looked.....half-assed.....for lack of a better term.... We would truly love to do another chocolate fundraiser down the road if you guys would like, but only if you all support it. WE will be doing the making of goodies ourselves, to make sure we don't disappoint you as some were today. We are very good at quality control... ;) Please accept our apologies for those orders that weren't as they were supposed to be, and please let us know of you would support another chocolate treat drive down the road, with goodies made by us Reacue gals.
CONGRATULATIONS to Cassie Gosselin and Aganetha Funk-Unrau on winning our extra Valentine's goodie packs!CONGRATULATIONS to Cassie Gosselin and Aganetha Funk-Unrau on winning our extra Valentine's goodie packs!
Thank you everyone who ordered Valentine's sweets for their Sweetie thru our fundraiser! You helped us raise over $500 for our Rescue horses! Please bear with us while we wait to hear back when we can pick up your goodies and we will let you know meet up time for Winnipeg locations, as well as Selkirk, Beausejour, Anola and surrounding areas!
Everyone stay warm out there! Cruze, Hairy Barry and Jackson say ""No more outside for us tonight!"
Brrrr! It’s a cold one out there today! Kim and I got a ride to pour sweet feed out for everyone as a treat for this frosty weather! Thanks to Dave for hauling us around!

All the horses are snuggled down with extra bales and warm blankets :)
Gracie - Gracie is a Brabant who is in her late teens, and was used as a brood mare. She is quiet to handle, leads and loads nicely and is ok with her feet. She stands about 16.3 HH and is gradually putting some needed weight back on. We will see if we can get a saddle on her this weekend. Adoption fee $1000
Fancy is an approx 2 year quarter horse filly. She is built like a tank and super sweet. She came to us from the September horse auction in Grunthal. We bought her to keep sweet Hazel company as they were pen mates as well as herd mates. Sadly Hazel has to be humanely euthanized due to a perforated bowel. Fancy is super friendly, and easy to catch. She stood tied quietly for over a half an hour yesterday (with no snacks) as we fed some of the skinnies their pellets. Not a pee...p, not a paw, not a whinny. She did great. We were told that she had ground work done with her and it shows. She was unsure of the saddle pad at first but was saddled without any issues and trotted around. She did great! She’s a looker who will make someone an amazing horse especially with her personality. Please note, if you are interested in any of our horses we do request that you fill out an adoption application. This does not mean that you have to adopt the horse it just helps us to see who is serious about the adoption See more
A little late but we wanted to give a big shout out to: Kaljent Ag Services for the donation of a few bags of feed! And The Doughnators for the awesome fundraiser they held for us and Final Furlong for donating their portion to us. This helps us buy our horse pellets this winter. Without having our annual Bud Spud, things are a little harder this winter with COVID-19 and every little bit helps. If anyone has any suggestions for fundraising, we can chat about it and see what works for us :) Thank you everyone!
Angel (who we are now calling Spicy, cus that’s what she is now that she’s feeling better!) came out for some treats again today she has blown out an abscess and we took her weight again. When she came in from auction on October 24, she was 715 lbs, last week she weighed in at 732 lbs and today was weighed at 744 lbs. You go girl!
They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old. Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, we shall remember them.
