All proceeds will be going to camp supplies We only printed 40 of these and will make more for summer camp :)

BDF updates ! What a successful week ! *Imira no longer has an infection ! * Miacoda is now giving lessons to students off a lunge line ( under the watchful eye of Riley Rempel) * Idalia has learned from Meshell Simms on how to lunge and wear a saddle * Blair has allowed me to catch her in the round pen and paddock

We are looking to hire for two positions : 1. Instructor/ assistant for our horse program. Part time position right now with the chance for more hours in the future. Must share the same values, morals, ethics as Black Diamond Farm. Must work well in a team and with children. Please contact us for an interview. successful applicants will be placed into a 3 month probation to make sure it is a perfect fit.... 2. A child care provider/ teacher/ Camp Counsellor to run the craft section during 4 days of spring break. Please contact us for an interview.

Our Spring Break Camps are almost full! We have: March 15-18: 4 morning spot- 1 afternoon March 22-25 : 1 morning ... Our lesson program is full, so get a feel for our farm by attending a fun/ active/ outdoor camp that follows strict covid protocols!

BLAIR UPDATE An update on Blair from Shaneen Alana Smith with the Steady Steed Project! Blair has been re-homed with a lovely family, to a lovely ho...me. Blair is now at Black Diamond Farm in Abbotsford, BC with Lauren Macdonald. Despite the weather and lack of facilities (for now), we worked with Blair as often as we could, and she came around very quickly. By the time she left the Steady Steed Project December 9th, she could be led, touched all over, legs touched, feet lifted, desensitized to a plastic bag and other scary things, yield her hind end, and the best part was she was much less fearful! At her new home, Blair now has access to facilities that will help make training easier for her (from established round pens to arenas to dedicated horse lovers), Blair is well on her way to becoming a super productive citizen! Way to go Blair The fees from re-homing Blair will go directly toward saving another Fjord from auction. We will continue this great work and with everyone's support, it makes it possible! Because of everyone at the CFHRN, Blair's new life is going to be incredible, and this is just the beginning!

Let me introduce .., BLAIR!! Blair is the newest member of Black Diamond Farm. the lesson students worked hard through purdys, Neufelds, Santa photos, merchandise, baskets and bracelets to get Blair here:) Blair is a 9 year old ( turning 10) Fjord x Arabian mare who was rescued off of a meat truck by a rescue centre . She was then saved by another lady who allowed us to purchase her. Blair is scared right now and does not have much formal training, so at this point - the volunteers are learning body language and how to approach her in order to handle / brush her. Blair has already become a lot more comfortable ! We love Blair and we love being apart of a story with a good ending

We have been very blessed to be very busy over here during a pandemic . Nothing is taken for granted from the support and love from everyone ! The camp was a wonderful success where I had to stop to breath and take in the laughs and sunshine. We have raised enough for our wonderful rescue pony, Blair ! She arrives Wedneday . Today was most likely one of my favourite days ever on this property ! Rob, Meshell Simms and I slaved on many volunteer hours to make this Santa and A Pony photo shoot a magical reality ! Between singing elves, a wonderful Santa, great friends and very hard work - we smiled all day today. Thank you to everyone for your wonderful support !!! Thank you to our magical Santa and our AMAZING photographer, Jessica Mason!!! Thank you to Fruit Affair and Harrison Rocky Mountain Chocolates for the incredible treats And thank you infinite to our amazing volunteers who make this place so wonderful

We have had quite a few ask for merchandise for Christmas! The supplier can not guarantee it will be ready for Christmas, since the products come from the USA- but he will try his hardest!! We will do one last order for 2020- and we will only have it up for sale for one week! All proceeds will go towards a certain horse that the students are wanting ! There will be a logo on the front left corner and a logo on the back. If you want anything written on yours ( name of person), it is $7 more. Photographers ! I am in need of a photographer for Santa/horse photos at our farm . It will be for around 50 or more mini sessions with Santa and a pony with our students . If you know of any photographers that may be willing to do this, please tag them and I will contact them
