After a few hours of work, the final touches on our new set of training irons are complete. Tuned ProBar-30 with a blued finish to protect against corrosion. These will get put to use in our upcoming class this month at an acquired multi-family building.

"Tune" Verb: tuned; tuning "To adjust for precise functioning"... "to adjust for precise functioning" is exactly what we did with one of our ProBar-30's. We tuned this tool to make it even more of a effective tool on the fireground and for our participants, have a look below at some of the things we did to enhance it performance. Much like our training and knowledge, it's the small adjustments and fine tuning that make the biggest differences to our performance.

The crew from Black Fire was out early in the new year testing and performing maintenance on a fire hydrant system for one of our communities. These hydrants are good to go for our local Fire Departments.

Over the last 2 weeks our instructors worked hard to deliver high caliber training while maintaining a safe learning environment for our Emergency Medical Responder students in Remote Northwest BC. The use of facial coverings, hospital grade surface cleaner, PPE and daily wellness checks ensured a safe learning environment for our students and Instructors. Congratulations to our newly certified EMRs who look to serve their community.
