Well after almost 18 months, the store will once again be open on Mondays, please see the complete hours for the week below: Sunday 10 am to 3 pm Monday 10 am to 4 pm Tuesday - CLOSED... Wednesday - 10 am to 4 pm Thursday - 10 am to 4 pm Friday - 10 am to 4 pm Saturday - 10 am to 4 pm We appreciate all of the support we have received through this very difficult time and all of the understanding from those of you who have appreciated the careful and cautious approach we have taken through this period. We are not through this pandemic yet, let’s all keep supporting and doing what we can to keep each other safe. Thank you

Our hours over the holidays

Well after 8 months of operating only through curbside pickup and a walkup table service (serving your deli needs without customers entering the store) we have opened up to 2 customer groups in the store at one time. We have installed plexiglass barriers, will use a designated in door and out door (sorry no access from our back entrance), have instituted safety protocols and of course we will all be wearing masks,..... it’s a tough time right now but we realize that all the specialty Christmas items require a visual for selling. We will continue to be closed Mondays and Tuesdays, but all other days will be open 10 am to 4 pm. We thank all of you so much who have continued to support our small business during these tough times, we look forward to better days ahead.

Thank you to all of our loyal customers who have taken us up on the the walkup door service. We have now expanded this service to 5 days a week, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and now Sunday! The hours of this service are from 10 am to 3:30 pm. Although you cannot come into the store, you can tell our staff what you would like and within a few minutes we can take payment at our other door where we have a POS terminal beside the window and can accept payment with a tap enabled card contactless from through the glass. If you do not have a tap enabled card we also accept cash. We hope to see you at the store soon.

Thank you to all of our loyal customers who have taken us up on the the walkup door service now offered Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. We have increased the hours of this service to 10 am to 2:30 pm on those 4 days now to better serve you. Please note however we will not be opening the walkup door on Wednesday July 1, as we will be closed to celebrate Canada Day!

We will be adding another aspect to our current service effective today. In addition to continuing on with emailed orders deivered to you at curbside on Thursday’s and Saturdays between 11 and 3 pm, we will also offer a walk up service out of our right hand front door. Customers will not be allowed into the store but there will be a staff member there to take and fill your order from the provided options. When the order is ready we will have you move down to our other door where payment will be done via tap through the window. Cash will be accepted but contactless payment is preferred whenever possible. We will offer this walk up service from 11 am to 2:30 pm Wednesday’s, Thursday’s, Fridays and Saturdays. We appreciate your continued support of our business as we adapt again to work within the confines of the reopening requirements.

Today we saw just how much our beautifully loyal Black Forest customers support small businesses during these trying times,... you ran us off our feet dealing with orders to get ready for tomorrow’s delivery to your car. We have soon realized that the phone orders are very time consuming and difficult to manage, so if at all possible, please send your orders via email (to: [email protected] ) and whenever possible if you can provide 48 hours notice it will allow us time to order in missing components of your order. We appreciate every order,..thank you, and thank you for your patience as we adapt daily to our changing world to keep your orders coming as safe as possible. Just to be absolutely clear, our pick up service is in fact a delivery service to your car parked outside our front door, you don’t need to get out of your car, just pop the trunk or open a door and we will bring your order out to the car, deposit it, close the door and you are off to your home again, without ever leaving your car. Call us from your cell phone to let us know your here, what type of car and colour and we will be out shortly with your pre-ordered and prepaid order. We want to do our part to keep you and our staff safe while also ensuring you are well fed while staying home. Well it’s starting to look a lot like Christmas,......

First off, it’s late but a big thank you to all of our loyal Black Forest European Deli customers for their loyalty and business over the holidays, you kept us running and we love you for it! Also, we will be adjusting our hours on Thursday and Friday evenings over the winter months (Jan through mid April) to close at 6pm rather than 7pm. We thank you for your understanding!
