Another Lockdown/Stay Home repair. Had a skylight leak that damaged some trim around the bathroom mirror trim, well, you get started and there's always something else you see that needs replacing ... and that's the way it goes !

Lockdown and Stay Home are giving me time for some much needed upgrades and repairs around WoodCraft World Headquarters ... here's one, a new space for the TV. The shelves on the left and top have been there for 20 years, added to them while keeping it looking like it all came together as one idea. Expert painter and list-maker Patti, kept a keen eye on the proceedings.

After twenty five years of summer heat and rain, winter snow and ice, at the mercy of Lake Huron, this veranda needed some damage control. Looked good from the street, but under the paint, things were going bad.

Rescued this bench by putting some new lumber on it, a paint job on the cast iron, gave it a strenuous sitting test and it passed with flying colours.

This backyard bench kit was ordered with pressure treated lumber instead of cedar ... probably better that way

The homeowner had an idea, for the look and structure, for 25 feet of custom lattice and trellis for an old climbing rose bed. I spent a week making it happen.
