This great vintage gem will be spending a few days in the shop... #vibrolux #fender #vintageamp
Working on our new line of low power hand-wired all-tube guitar amp heads. Stay tuned. Coming soon!
...and we just received the guitar amp head cabinets made by our great local supplier, Wood It is. Thank you, Jane.
This great champ found a new home and is being shipped today, but before that it needs to pass our "quality control" #handbuilt #blackmountainamps #handwired
...and we just fixed a great bass amp, Traynor YBA200, that perhaps got pushed a bit too hard for too long and caused the power tubes to fail, frying a few resistors that compromised both bias and power amp sections. As a result the amp was melting new power tubes as soon as they were put in. Now it's all fixed and back home safe and sound.
She's now back home safe and sounding like new. Zero noise, just great tone, like new. Sounding great even with the Master Volume between 1 and 2 :)
Before and after pics of the Mesa Boogie Mark III. It had a few blown resistors, carbonized capacitor, rusty tube retainers, needed new power tubes, was due for a re-cap job and also needed a complete "detailing service". All work done with genuine Mesa parts. #mesaboogie #amprepair
This Mesa/Boogie Mark III has been sitting in the shop for a while because it has suffered a catastrophic failure and I needed to order original parts from Mesa. The amp is due for a cap job as well. The parts have finally arrived and now it's time to do the work.
...and another vintage gem is in the shop for a cap job. Fender Vibro Champ, hand wired in 1970. I love the tone of this small amp! #vintageamps #fender #vibrochamp
