Been awhile since I shared something. When making my fires I like to make a bundle of matterials more like a rodents nest then a birds nest. Also grass works great but must be really dry. I store my char cloth in the tin I made it. This help me keep track of how much I have. Do you have some suggestions for fire making you'd like to share ? Post below.

Wouldn't it be amazing to have a earthen oven. The smell of fresh baked bread wafting through camp.... Two questions come to mind, who's interested in building the oven? And who's bringing the butter?

Something exciting is soon to be happening for the BEAR club. I won't be giving away much but teasers. For my black powder friends you will be greeted with a lot of new targets on the bear trail. 2020 might be shot to heck but it gives us a chance to make changes for the 2021 season. Our club agm will be held July 8th and the members have been asked to bring ideas for possible targets.
