Blackwater Spruce Ranch

Well it is definitely time to update this page. We have made some decisions last year that have changed the scope of our business. We are no longer hosting any cattle drives. As well we are no longer offering long overnight treks on the Alexander Mackenzie Heritage trail. Many factors have brought us to these decisions. We are, however, still a guest ranch. We rent cabins, and we do still have our horses for rides around the ranch and surroundings. For the fisherman in your f...amily, we are located about 10 min from the world famous Blackwater river. Book a comfortable cabin, and come and stay with us. Fresh Homecooked meals can be provided upon request. Hope to see some of you this year! Hope you all have a fantastic spring and summer. Wow 2014 was a great year for the Blackwater spruce ranch. Great times had with all of the treeplanters. As well as the trailriders and hunters that spend time with us this year. We hope that 2015 is a healthy, sunny and prosperous year for all!. We will have a new schedule up for the season near the end of January, and yes we will try to do more posting, just not much of a writer. We have made some amazing friends over the years, and it is what keeps us going in this business. A very happy 2015 to everyone!

what have we been up to? day 43 of cooking for treeplanters. Great group, but we are looking forward to the end... Dale is off guiding a bear hunt for a friend, and I am trying to organize and pack for an adventure to Savary Island, another one of BC's beauty spots, it is on the bucket list, so should be a good trip. Looking forward to coming home and getting ready for some summer trail-riding. Summer is here! :)

what have we been up to?? wlll spring is in full force here..however instead of riding, we are busy hosting a very friendly group of treeplanters... We are still looking for all those cowboys and cowgirls for some trailrides this summer... we have had to cancel the 10 day trek to Anahim stampede, but we have added another 5 day trek from July 3 to the 8th...Put on your cowboy boots and ride with the Blackwater spruce ranch. :) Have a great summer Y"all
